The concept of the Vienna Storebox store is exceptional. From the outside, a gallery visible through shop windows, with contemporary art with a touch of street art on its walls. On the lower level, in the basement, the actual shop — an underground heaven for sneaker enthusiasts, atmospherically shaped by deliberately staged contrasts.

Metrofarm and Josef Göbel succeeded in creating a shop that thrives on contrasts — a coherent interplay of materials, textures and forms. Contrasts between warm and cool and rough and clean create a special atmosphere. A design that shows independence and impresses with precision. Josef Göbel's versatility of craftsmanship proved to be ideal, recognizable by the consistently high quality of workmanship of the coordinated wood, metal and glass work.

The work of art created by Josef Göbel turns the open space of the staircase area into an art space.
Heavily impressive
For trying on shoes, customers sit on monolithic stone replicas. The models for this can be found in the Fladnitz area.
Clear edge
The light- and sight-transparent glass railing in the gallery creates a harmonious connection between the space and the exhibits.
