Furniture Design for Apprentices

Craftsmanship is not just about fulfilling orders—it is about creativity, too. That is why we encourage our apprentice craftsmen to design and produce one unique piece of furniture per apprenticeship year for their own use. Entirely paid for by us.

For those eager to expand their knowledge even further, we offer an integrated model that allows you to complete your Matura alongside your apprenticeship—without sacrificing your working hours.

Structured Training Plan

Every apprentice receives a personalized training plan, complete with accompanying documentation for each year of their apprenticeship. This ensures comprehensive exposure to all relevant departments.

Performance Bonus: Hard work pays off–literally

Apprentices who complete vocational school and their final apprenticeship exam with distinction receive a full month’s salary as a success bonus.

Kickstart Week

To help you transition smoothly into your career and the world of Josef Göbel, your apprenticeship begins with a dedicated start week. Together with your fellow apprentices, you will get to know our processes, expectations, and company culture in a supportive environment.

Living and Working

Where needed and where possible, we also provide accommodation. Currently, we are building new residential units in Fladnitz to offer even greater flexibility for future apprentices.

Fully Sponsored Final Examination

Your success is our priority. That is why we d not just support you with your final project—we also cover the costs of your apprenticeship exam and the required workpiece.
