Project Info

Magic is a big, auspicious word. However, at Esterházygasse 33 in Vienna, in the hotel “Die Josefine” and its “Barfly's Club”, which also serves as the breakfast room – it becomes an undeniable presence, felt in every corner. The result is a distinctive and exceptional fusion of various styles and epochs. Vintage was never the focal point, nor was it about incorporating old furniture. Everything was reimagined, reinterpreted, and a substantial portion of the interior was custom-crafted by hand, perfectly complementing the unique characteristics of the space.

The challenge of reinventing an old hotel in a Wilhelminian style house in Vienna became truly unique with an
extremely tight schedule. A place that embraces you with colors, furnishings and equipment and lets you
discover something new again and again in its thoughtfully arranged details.
